ALIANZA: PRESERVING THE SALTON SEA
Recognized as the leading civic engagement and advocacy organization serving the
Eastern Coachella Valley, Alianza and its leadership have been involved in improving the
quality of life of all its neighbors, including the health risks posed by the hazardous
environment of the shrinking and toxic Salton Sea. The California Department of Natural Resources and Alianza will be holding an informational program that will provide first-hand
review of the state’s recent analysis of 13 concepts to restore the Salton Sea. Stay tuned for information on how to join this virtual meeting.
